Price
The price was extremely inexpensive, the lipstick was just £3.99 and the lipliner pencil was £1.99. These prices make it very popular with teens and students as they are good quality and affordable.Packaging
All of the makeup products in the Pure Colour collection has black cardboard packaging, which has matte and shiny stripes horizontally or diagonally with bold silver embossed writing. The actual Lipsticks packaging is matte black with a strip of shiny black around the middle, the lipsticks also have New look written around the top of the tube in silver. As a whole I think the packaging is very simple but sophisticated but it isn't very original as there are few other brands which look very similar for example the Topshop lip polishes.
As for the lipliner pencil I'm a little disappointed with the packaging as they don't come in the cardboard boxes and they are not sealed which I think is a little unsanitary. The pencil itself is is a little plain for my taste and isn't very eye catching as it is just matte black the silver writing and the end is the shade of the of the lipliner.
The Products
The lipstick is well pigmented and has a lovely matte finish without drying out the lips. The colour doesn't bleed around the lips and stays visible for quite a few hours. The lipliner blends really nicely with the lipstick adding a crisp lined edge to the lips, giving the Kylie Jenner lip look. The only con I have about this lipstick is that it transfers, when wearing this lipstick I would be extra careful when eating and touching the lip area as it could smudge or transfer onto clothing.
My Overall Opinion
Overall I feel this lipstick is a great value for money, it's a beautiful nude and is perfect for throwing in your bag as it is inexpensive and but is a great lipstick for day to day use. I'm glad I have added this to my makeup collection and I'm sure I will purchase other products from the Pure Colour makeup line.
